Criteria
Question 1: | Does species need conservation or recovery in England? |
Response: | No |
Justification: | Very local in south and east England and in south Wales. Though it has undoubtedly declined in England over the past century, there have been several new discoveries in more recent decades. This is certainly still an under-recorded species but it may be stable or even increasing. Around 20 post-1980 locations in England recorded on NBN. Several new locations in well-studied areas of NW Norfolk and the Brecks suggest that this species has been overlooked historically. |
Question 2: | Does recovery/ conservation depend on species-specific actions? |
Response: | No |
Justification: | No apparent need for conservation action subject to future status reviews. |
Question 3: | At a landscape scale, would the species benefit from untargeted habitat management to increase habitat mosaics, structural diversity, or particular successional stages? |
Response: | N/A |
Justification: |
