Criteria

Question 1: Does species need conservation or recovery in England?
Response: No
Justification: Restricted to England. Though only known from the New Forest, with records from two adjacent hectads, the species has been stable in its geographical range since at least the early 1900s. There appear to be no plausible threats to the microhabitat, habitat or landscape other than the pervasive threats such as climatic change and air pollution.
Question 2: Does recovery/ conservation depend on species-specific actions?
Response: No
Justification: No apparent need for conservation action subject to future status reviews.
Question 3: At a landscape scale, would the species benefit from untargeted habitat management to increase habitat mosaics, structural diversity, or particular successional stages?
Response: N/A
